The sweet and dessert wine Vent d’Anges, vintage 2001 from the winery Philippe Darioli has been rated in 2006 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petite Arvine from the region Valais in Switzerland.
Strong yellow gold. Intense tropical fruit on the nose, delicate smoky notes, some red berries in the fruit, strong use of wood. Powerful on the palate, well-integrated sweetness, but also fresh acid structure, mineral component, still too young to be balanced, lots of wood, sweet, good length.
