The red wine Guardoilvento Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Pietro Caciorgna has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright garnet. Intense and vivid nose, blackberries and dark cherries, plus flint, some dried apricots. On the palate powerful, noticeable tannins, enveloping, still very young, with a sweet texture on the finish.
