The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Cupio DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Pinino has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Noble, bright ruby red. Shows up on the nose with notes of ripe strawberries, raspberry jam, some cassis, dried flowers on the end. Hearty drink with subtle juice, delicate tannin supports the structure, misses some drive in the middle part, becomes light-footed towards the end.
