The red wine Cannubi Barolo DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Azienda Agricola E. Pira E Figli has been rated in 2014 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby with a slight garnet rim. Lots of clear and present fruit, lots of dark cherry, rich plum, inviting. Round and supple on the palate, full in the mouth, shows ripe fruit, then opens up with grippy tannins, unfortunately a little overhanging wood in the finish, ends on clear vanilla notes.
