The red wine Guardiavigna IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Podere Forte has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense brilliant ruby, substantial. Shows rich, dark berry fruit, lots of cassis and raspberry. Very clear and deep. On the palate initially rich, ripe berry fruit, then opens with supple, dense tannin, spreads quietly, subtle notes of cinnamon in the finish.
