The red wine Petresco IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Podere Le Cinciole has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling, intense ruby with light garnet tones. Very clear and present nose, dark cherries, raspberries, some cardamom, polished. Also very polished on the palate, opens up with lots of fine-meshed tannins, builds beautifully, salty and juicy, fine raspberry notes on the finish.
