Brilliant, intense ruby. Intense and inviting nose, first some smoke and liquorice, then lots of blackberry, prune and black cherry, fine savouriness in the background. Blooms grandly on the palate, lots of juicy fruit, opens up in many layers, reverberates very long, precise and fine.
More about the tastingBright ruby with a rich core. Very fragrant and inviting nose of ripe, fleshy plum, some pickled cherry and liquorice in the background. Round and balanced on the palate, opens with beautiful forest fruit, grippy, dense tannins, fine texture in between, firm drive on the finish.
