The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Colleoni DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Podere Sante Marie has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby with a pronounced garnet sheen. Clear and memorable on the nose, showing lots of ripe fruit, raspberry and dark cherry, fine savouriness. Compact on the palate, unfolds with finely meshed tannin, sweet fruit and lots of dark berries on the finish.
