Dark, rich ruby colour. Fragrant and expressive on the nose, initially earthy and stony notes, then blackcurrants, a touch of leather and dried roses, finishing on milk chocolate and blackberries. On the palate great fruit expression and fine texture, but becomes drying in the back and remains so.
