The red wine Dedicato a Walter DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Poggio al Tesoro has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby with purple glints. A very memorable nose, opens with notes of cigar box and butter cookies, then lots of dark berry fruit and some tobacco. Dense and supple in the approach and course, unfolding with a lot of power, clearly defined fruit, vivid and savoury on the finish, then unfortunately clear oak notes which seem quite heated.
