The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Poggio di Sotto has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 - 99 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, bright ruby. Finely marked nose with pronounced notes of ripe raspberries, juicy, fresh cherries and a touch of leather. On the palate very impressive, fine, easily gripping tannin in many layers characterises the wine, embedded in fine texture, ripe red berry fruit, on the finish firm drive.
