The red wine Elegia Primitivo di Manduria Riserva DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Produttori di Manduria has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
An intense and almost impenetrable ruby red colour with a shining core. On the nose initially there is a ripe blackberry aroma, then roasted hazelnut, buttered pastry, as well as a slight note of rum-steeped fruit. On the palate it has deep dark fruit flavours, with a rich body and a subtle depth. It is long, unfolds with breadth, has a nice drive, and finishes with toasty flavours.
