The red wine Palafreno Toscana IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Querciabella has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, compact ruby red with a luminous core. The nose is flooded with scents of blackcurrants and blackberries, coupled with a slight echo of anchovies. The palate is lively and clear, very juicy, CARRIED by the finest tannin in its most textured form, compact, structured and at the same time very long, ending fruity and salty.
