The red wine Plansel Trincadeira, vintage 2020 from the winery Quinta da Plansel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Trincadeira from the region Alentejo in Portugal.
The aroma reveals bitter chocolate, broom, herbal savouriness and peppery notes. The palate has juiciness and elegance on a soft basis, the tannin remains rather restrained in its effect, the acidity is also mild and thus supports the impression of a rounded harmony. The sweet finish is accompanied by mineral notes.
