The red wine Vinha Maria Teresa Douro DOC, vintage 2007 from the winery Quinta do Crasto has been rated in 2011 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Trousseau from the region Douro in Portugal.
Deep ruby colour, purple reflections, brightening at the rim. Initially quite dominant woody notes, with air come fine fruity nuances of red berries, floral nuances, a hint of honey. Full-bodied and complex, again vivid tannins, yet elegant, very good structure, mineral finish, a wine that will certainly benefit from a few more years of ageing in the bottle and only now gives an idea of its potential.
