Deep ruby comes with glints of garnet and a broad ruby rim. The nose has a glint of smoke, the lift of polished mahogany hovering above ripe, juicy, fresh plum. The palate is wonderfully fluid, there is an energy and an agility that has a mutable, shimmering quality that makes this almost flirtatious. A wonderful unity adds a spicy depth to the mellow but fresh fruit, overtones of baked fruit suggest generosity without adding any weight. This has an absolutely charming and beguiling nature, its very poise belies the depth of flavour.
