The red wine Barolo DOCG Marcenasco, vintage 2021 from the winery Ratti has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region La Morra in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour with a purple sheen and a brighter rim. Balanced nose, red fruit and dark savouriness, reminiscent of strawberry, watermelon, black pepper and tar, followed by eucalyptus. Juicy notion on the palate, fully ripe tannins, animating acidity, finishes with animating savouriness, good length.
