The red wine Merlot Veneto Rosso IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Redalmo has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Marselan from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby with a drop of purple. Boisterous nose, very savoury, hints of wet wood, very ripe plum fruit, opens to cranberry confit after a little time, slightly animalistic echo. On the palate deep earthy notes, again slightly animalistic, countered by deceptive fruitiness, appears unbalanced overall.
