A richly nuanced aroma: fresh citrus zest, blood orange, also herbal and spicy notes. The palate opens with quite noticeable sweetness, the acidity is somewhat defensive, and there is a slight viscosity which underlines the late harvest character. A Riesling at the sweeter end of the Spätlese spectrum.
