The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2023 from the winery Rocca di Montegrossi has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Pronounced ruby red colour with a dark shimmer. The nose opens with fruity notes, clearly blood orange, later sugared cherries, also violets. Elegant and juicy on the palate with a lovely flow. The tannins are well integrated, the finish is persistent and fine, has benefited from bottle ageing!
