The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva Il Poggiolo, vintage 2008 from the winery Rodolfo Cosimi has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Brunello di Montalcino in Italy.
Rich, sparkling ruby with a light garnet rim. Opens on the nose with fine and at the same time very present notes of preserved cherries and ripe plums. Taut and dense on the palate, shows plenty of present, densely woven tannins, fine sweet enamel, builds full, juicy and long on the finish.
