Bright ruby colour with a slight garnet rim. Fine, multi-layered nose, shows facets of violets, raspberry and dark cherries, appears very compact. Hearty and gripping on the palate, unfolds with plenty of grippy, firm tannins, pithy and earthy, with a full-bodied finish.
