The red wine Amphora Vignamasso Toscana IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery San Polo has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with subtle brightening on the rim. Initially somewhat restrained on the nose, with spicy notes of black pepper and cloves, some cherry in the background. The palate is decidedly fresh, with a lively acidity, fine-grained tannin, some orange zest in the middle, animatingly salty on the finish.
