The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery S.A.Santa Brigida Sas has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby red colour with slightly brighter rim. It has a multilayered and complex nose of very ripe blackberry, strawberry confit, cherry compote, tar, and red curry in the background. On the palate it is decidedly fresh and juicy but with great balance, unfolding beautifully with a long finish that is salty and which also has a firm drive.
