The red wine Pinot Noir, No. 3 Der Andere, vintage 2008 from the winery Schlossgut Bachtobel has been rated in 2011 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Upper Thur Valley in Switzerland.
Bright garnet red. Spicy attack with notes of pepper, black cherries and prunes. Old-school Pinot Noir that fully celebrates its filigree and finesse. Even though it has matured for 18 months in 225-liter Burgundy barrels, the wood is only subtly noticeable. A medium-bodied, almost shy Pinot Noir with a delicate tannin structure that still needs some time. Hans-Ulrich Kesselring's last vinified vintage.
