The red wine Nizza DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Serra Domenico has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark ruby with magenta edges. Dark fruit aromas on the nose, of raisin, dried fig and ripe plum, reverberating lightly with tobacco, graphite and bay leaf. On the palate it is full-bodied, with grippy tannin and lively acidity, ripe plum, warming, on the finish it is delicately bitter.
