Tasting from 26.04.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich, deep dark ruby with a fine purple shimmer. Opens on the nose with notes of dried tomatoes and dried porcini mushrooms, lots of blackberries, some leather. Beautiful ripe notes of plums on the palate, but also striking acidity that gives tension, long finish. Old style in the best sense.
