The white wine »SL« Weissburgunder trocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Staatsweingut Karlsruhe Durlach has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
A multi-layered floral and berry-led nose flows from the glass, with some nutty undertones and sesame too. The palate displays a taut acidity, but is also supple and underpinned with fine, grippy phenolics. The youthful, compact finish is mineral-based. A wine with an excellent future.
