The red wine Quinta do Vesuvio, vintage 2019 from the winery Symington Family Estates has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points.
Strong ruby, delicate ochre reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Attractive black berry fruit, blackberries, hint of liquorice, floral touch. Juicy, red berries, fresh acidity, silky tannins, saline minerality on the finish, appears relatively light-footed, a fine food wine with ageing potential.
