On the nose, ripe red fruits, black cherry, blackberry, sloe, sweet ripe plum and a touch of herbal savouriness. Intense on the palate with clearly detectable tannins, somewhat green with notes of sour cherry and nutshell, gripping, medium acidity, somewhat astringent and rather rustic.
