The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenuta Abbadia Vecchia has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, bright ruby red. Ripe cherry, sugared raspberry, some milk chocolate and rose petal on the nose. Beautifully polished and creamy fruit on the palate, rich and warm-hearted, noticeable use of oak, albeit with a pronounced character on the finish.
