Rich, deep dark ruby colour, slight purple shimmer. Opens with notes of dark chocolate and black pepper, stimulating, then blackberries and blueberries, beautiful interplay. Good density on the palate, hearty, grippy tannins, dark berries, somewhat rough on the finish.
