The red wine Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 2012 from the winery Tenuta Croce di Mezzo has been rated in 2017 by Kiem, Othmar with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling ruby garnet. Open, finely drawn nose of cherries and raspberries, some pomegranate. Shows beautiful tension on the palate, juicy and salty, medium weight, but then has a beautiful long finish.
