The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Tenuta di Lilliano has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Elegant, bright ruby red with a glittering core. Fragrant and savoury on the nose with liquorice and bourbon vanilla, hints of milk chocolate and forest fruits hidden in the background. Taut and juicy on the palate, then slightly vegetal and bitter. Opens up on grippy tannins and has a harsh finish.
