Rich, powerful ruby with violet shimmer. Intense, dense nose with notes of ripe dark currant, blackberry and fresh plum, plus fine spice components. Full-bodied and gripping on the palate, lots of dark berry fruit, opens with firm, finely meshed tannin in many layers, has plenty of power and great ageing potential.
