The red wine Bolgheri Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenuta Meraviglia has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, clear garnet with brown reflections. Tart herbs adorn the nose, rosemary and chervil, then rosehip, subtle hints of geranium, coffee grounds in the aftertaste. It hits the palate with a lot of structure, spreads out coarsely, with power and tension, appears very dry in the tannin and finishes with salt and a hint of bitter almond.
