Deep, rich and dense ruby red tending towards purple. Intense nose, clearly red currant, undergrowth, dark chocolate, with a finish of stewed plum and coffee. Pronounced on the palate, full-bodied, savoury, multi-layered with grown-up, sweetish tannins. Beautiful drinkability and medium length.
