The red wine Campo dei Gigli Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Sant'Antonio has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella , Croatina, Oseleta
Rich dark ruby, narrow rim. Rich notes, of dried plum, some pickled walnut, liquorice in the background. On the palate a lot of grippy tannin, in the back course unfortunately quite coarse tannin, dries clearly, in the echo clear oak overhang.
