The red wine Scipio Toscana IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Tenuta Sette Cieli has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has an intense, rich ruby red colour. It is spicy on the nose with nice pepper and some red bell pepper aromas, as well as notes of smoke and concentrated black elderberry. On the palate it is lively and very fresh, unfolding widely with berry fruit notes, then on the finish it is emphatically grippy due to the loosely knit oak tannins.
