Clear ruby red with slight rim lightening. An intense, compact nose, with lots of ripe plum and violets, subtle liquorice notes and black pepper in the background. On the palate it's powerful and harmonious, with ripe, well-integrated tannin, fresh acidity, and a saline finish.
