Intense, rich ruby red. On the nose ripe wild berries, mint, plus raspberry jelly and a touch of honey. The palate is full-bodied, with gripping tannins and lots of texture, spreads widely over the tongue, with a rich drive on the finish, becomes a bit loosely knit on the finish with a slight lingering dryness.
