Rich, deep dark ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Very intense and appealing nose, lots of dark berries, some black truffle, rich elderberries and ripe wild raspberries, dark pepper in the background. Fills the palate with plump fruit of ripe plums and figs, opens up with pithy, well-integrated tannins, firm drive on the finish.
