The white wine NV Smiley WO Western Cape White V6 from the winery Terracura Wines has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chenin Blanc from the region Western Cape in South Africa.
Slightly cloudy lemon yellow colour. Characterised by spontaneous fermentation, lemon and herbs, some damp asphalt, and Waldmeister liqueur. But also sliced and dried pear. The palate begins more juicy than supple, then develops a subtle layer of phenolics, a ripe acidity and a round, medium-bodied finish, during which the acidity intensifies a little.
