The red wine Vinea Mea Electra Venezia Giulia IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Terre Rosse has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Refosco from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Rich ruby with a slight garnet sheen at the rim. Opens on the nose with lots of oak savouriness, balsamic notes and some elderberry. On the palate the oak is surprisingly well-integrated, juicy, dark berry fruit, hearty, fine tannin.
