Rich, impenetrable ruby with a black core. Deep nose, initially shows slightly earthy notes of beet and rhubarb, then lots of dark cherry, inviting. Blossoms beautifully on the palate, opens up with dense tannins, lots of dark berry fruit, especially elderberries, supple and long finish.
