The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Torcilacqua has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tavarnelle Val di Pesa in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour, darkening. Liquorice, dark chocolate, blackberry and fine hints of tobacco characterise the nose, hearty on the palate too, with plenty of substance and juice, rich, can still age a little.
