This has a deep and luminous purple colour. It is spicy on the nose, with aromas of oak and cinnamon, chocolate powder, liquorice, then a subtle hint of plum. On the palate there is a surprising interplay of juicy fruit and spiciness, and it is compact and vivid, with grippy tannins throughout.
