A lovey, promising reductive note precedes the black olive and pepper notions on the nose. The palate sweeps in with freshness, with tart but ripe, red cherry, always edged with pepper on a body that shows off smooth, fine tannins and a fine line of acidity on a medium body. This is a Shiraz on light feet with an elegant silhouette – very much Hunter elegance that is.
