The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Uccelliera has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, flint garnet red. Appealing nose with notes of plums, wild raspberry, plus some leather and liquorice. On the palate a lot of vivid, ripe fruit, opens with grippy tannin, hearty and savoury, a little rough on the finish.
