This has a rich dark garnet colour. On the nose there is a delicate oak spiciness, as well as ripe raspberry, rosehip, light caramel, and dried violet blossom. It opens up on the palate with grippy tannins, and it is juicy and powerful, with a hearty and spicy finish, and only minimal persistence.
